2009 Board Candidate: Lou Hansen

Lou Hansen is a staff writer at The Virginian-Pilot and covered the military for five years. He embedded twice with Navy and National Guard units to Iraq, Kuwait and the Persian Gulf. He has served on the board of MRE since 2007.

He’s won several local and state awards for his reporting. In 2009, he was a fellow at the Knight Center for Specialized Journalism.
