The Los Angeles Times reports that Afghan troops in Marja have been showing much improvement since a similar attack last summer.Lead Afghan commander Brig. Gen. Mahayoodin Ghoori said “we fought hard, we beat the terrorists,” but he added that they needed more training, particularly with heavy weapons.
