Hi all - I got this message by email. Thought this may be a story idea for anyone interested

Coinciding with the 90th anniversary of Veteran’s Day is the Grand Opening at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans with three new venues opening November 6.  We’re writing to request your consideration of a Profile with Dr. Nick Mueller, CEO and Co-founder of the Museum.

The National World War II Museum tells the story of the American Experience in the war that changed the world – why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today – so that all generations will understand the price of freedom and be inspired by what they learn.  To all Americans, The National World War II Museum is the national museum attraction that portrays the story of those who fought for our freedom by bringing America’s extraordinary experience in the World War II years to life.

Given that 900+ WWII vets die every day, there is urgency to our task. We are in a race against time to collect their memories and finish the museum’s expansion as a demonstration to the veterans still with us of the nation’s gratitude.

Please support our effort to promote Museum visits among children and the importance of educating future generations about our nation’s past.

We look forward to your feedback and arranging a phone interview you or one of your reporters with Dr. Mueller.

Best regards,

Stacey Udell
