Entry forms for 2009 MRE journalism contest now available
Entry forms are now available for MRE’s 2009 journalism contest in which the organization recognizes the top work from the previous calendar year in print, photography, television and on-line journalism for stories on military affairs, veterans issues, national defense, and homeland security.
The deadline for entries for this year’s contest is May 1, 2009.
A panel of independent judges will determine the winners, with the “best of the best” awarded the prestigious Joseph Galloway Award. The winner of that award will receive a $500 check in addition to a plaque.
