When you submit the 2024 MRE Conference Registration form to Military Reporters & Editors (MRE) and make a payment via Stripe, you understand, acknowledge and agree to the following:
Personal information and registration
- You are voluntarily providing Military Reporters & Editors (MRE) with personal information including: your first name, last name, company name, title, and email address.
- MRE will use this information to register you for the 2024 MRE conference.
- We may use this information to communicate conference details to you.
- Your name may be shared with persons at the conference for the purpose of admittance.
- We do not share personal information with third-parties.
Payment Information
- We utilize Stripe for checkout, a payment gateway and service. Stripe has its own Terms of Service.
- We do not process financial transactions on the Military Reporters and Editors website and retain minimal transactional records as may be needed for a non-profit organization.
Refunds
As a registered non-profit we do not issue refunds as the fees involved are hefty for an organization such as ours. If an unexpected issue arises, you may contact us at mre@militaryreporters.org or write to us at Military Reporters & Editors, c/o Medill Journalism School Washington News, 1301 K Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20005.
Your choice
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the 2024 MRE Conference Registration form.
