Military Reporters & Editors hosts a social event for members and friends.
It’s been a while since we’ve gotten together over a cold one and we could probably all do with some in-person camaraderie. Military Reporters & Editors welcomes all members and those interested in the organization to join us on Wednesday, March 12 for a happy hour at Nighthawk Brewery & Pizza in Pentagon City (1201 S. Joyce Street, Arlington, VA 22202) at 5:30 p.m.
Members, did you miss our general membership meeting last month? Come hear what MRE will be up to in 2025 and let us know what you’d like to see us do this year.
Membership is not required to attend this event. If you would like to learn more about joining the organization, members of the MRE Board of Directors will be on-hand during the event to discuss membership perks, answer questions, or walk you through the easy application process. Of course, you may apply anytime online on the Military Reporters & Editors website.
This event is an opportunity for socializing, getting to know us, learning what we do. Fun and serious conversations may ensue with an MRE gaggle.

Our goal is to provide the public with what it needs to make informed decisions about our nation’s military efforts.
